Hostaria Mazzei
(O sta ria Mot say)

Hostaria Mazzei is the place to go for authentic Italian cuisine.

We pride ourselves on capturing the true flavors of Italy. Established by an Italian from Puglia, co-owned by an Italian from Milan and in the masterful hands of an executive chef from Sardinia, Hostaria Mazzei is truly "a product of Italy." The fare ranges from risottos to delicious seafood as well as some hearty meat dishes.

Unlike ordinary Italian restaurants in America, we do our best to give our customers a culinary experience that's exactly how it would be done it our home country.

A warm and intimate place that has the elegance, décor, expansive wine list and excellent service you would expect in one of the finest Manhattan restaurants, Hostaria Mazzei is one of Westchester's culinary gems.

Pronounce our name and you're speaking like an Italian. Taste our food and you're eating like an Italian.

About Our Name

Hostaria Mazzei is named after Italian Phillip Mazzei, an 18th-century world traveler; surgeon and diplomat who counted Thomas Jefferson among his friends. The wise Florentine suggested that Jefferson create a constitution and use the words "All men are created equal" in the Declaration of Independence.
